Product description
The Roman goddess Diana was venerated from the late sixth century BC as diva triformis, "three-form goddess", and early on was conflated with the similarly-depicted Greek goddess Hekate. Our design is inspired from an ancient Roman coin from 43 BC. We edged the sides with 6 red cubic zirconia stones to represent the 6 pomegranate seeds of Persephone. Spells and hymns in Greek refer to the goddess (called Hecate, Persephone, and Selene, among other names) as "triple-sounding, triple-headed, triple-voiced..., triple-pointed, triple-faced, triple-necked". Our Necklace is an ode to the Goddess.
The pendant is on an 18" ball detailed chain with an extension. Brass plated in imitation gold.
